The Orange Botswana Foundation has officially adopted the Women Against Rape (WAR) Shelter in Maun a commitment grounded in our mission to uplift vulnerable communities and support the national fight against gender-based violence.

Today, in commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV, the Orange Botswana Foundation made a donation to WAR through our Engage for Change employee initiative. Orange employees spent the day volunteering at the Centre, refurbishing and renovating key areas to help create a safer, more dignified space for the women and children who depend on the shelter.

In addition, the Department of Forestry & Range Resources donated trees to the Centre as part of their support reinforcing the shared belief that nurturing communities must go hand in hand with caring for the environment.

Together, we stand firmly against GBV and united for a future built on safety, dignity, and hope.
