The Orange Foundation, in a gesture of support for the disabled community, today distributed 300 bags of rice and gallons of vegetable oil respectively to over 250 individuals. The donation event, held at Edgewater Drive in Congo Town, was organized in celebration of Liberia's post-independence.

The supplies were distributed with the National Commission on Disabilities present, ensuring they reached those most in need. Each person received one bag of rice and one gallon of vegetable oil.

"We are committed to supporting all members of our community, especially those who are often overlooked," said an Orange Foundation spokesperson. "This donation is a small way of showing our appreciation and helping to ensure that everyone can celebrate this important time of year."

The event began at 11:30 a.m. and continued until all supplies were distributed. The Orange Foundation plans to continue its partnership with the National Commission on Disabilities to provide ongoing support to the disabled community.
