Orange Foundation Distributes 20 Coolers to Boost Community Livelihoodjeudi, septembre 4, 2025
Monrovia, Liberia – In a heartening effort to support local entrepreneurship and the livelihood of single mothers especially, Orange Foundation recently distributed 20 coolers to deserving members of the Soniwein community.
This initiative aims to empower individuals by providing them with the necessary tools to start or grow small businesses, primarily through the sale of cold water and other chilled consumables.
The coolers were given to people identified as "deserving" through our community liaison, who helped identify those who would most benefit from the support. The distribution event was met with great enthusiasm and brought smiles to the faces of the recipients, offering them a new way to earn an income and improve their livelihoods.

Selling cold beverages and snacks is a common and accessible form of small business in many communities. The lack of proper cooling equipment can be a significant barrier for many would-be entrepreneurs. By providing these coolers, the Orange Foundation has given these individuals a direct path to economic self-sufficiency, enabling them to generate income and contribute to their family's well-being.
We believe,"living is all about sharing". This project is an example of how the smaller acts of kindness creates a ripple effect of positive change
Orange Foundation plans to monitor the progress of the recipients and hopes to expand the program in the future to help more people start their own ventures.
