Digital school

With its 10-year presence in the DRC, Orange is working to offer the best to its local communities. Orange is thus taking action for education through its Foundation, with the construction of schools within Orange villages that enable the schooling of more than 1,000 pupils in rural areas. Since 2019, the Orange Foundation has also been rolling out its digital schools programme to introduce digital literacy to schoolchildren in disadvantaged areas, with a direct impact on nearly 5,000 primary school pupils and the exposure of more than 10,000 pupils to the applications developed for this programme and available in French and our 4 national languages. There are now more than 21 digital schools in Kinshasa and central Kongo. And the programme is continuing to expand throughout the DRC.
