Easter and Ramadan 2024 Community Donations

Orange Sierra Leone embodies the spirit of giving throughout the year, but especially during holy seasons. Their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) shines brightly as they partner with religious communities to ensure a more fulfilling Ramadan and Easter for all.

A Tradition of Support

For nine years running, Orange Sierra Leone has illuminated the lives of those in need during Ramadan. This year, their focus is on providing essential support to 15 mosques across the country, with distributions reaching 10 mosques in Freetown and 5 in the provinces.

Similarly, for the past three years, Orange Sierra Leone has extended a helping hand to the Christian community during Lent. Their Easter donation drive distributes aid to 10 churches, strategically divided between Freetown 7 churches and the provinces 3 churches.

Beyond Donations: The Significance of Giving Back

These initiatives extend far beyond just providing material support. Orange recognizes the importance of Ramadan and Easter for their respective faith communities. Their donations reflect core values of solidarity, empathy, and giving back. By ensuring houses of worship have the resources they need, Orange fosters a spirit of togetherness and allows for a more enriching spiritual experience for all.

Orange Sierra Leone believes that employee engagement is vital to the success of its CSR efforts. Staff members are actively involved in both Ramadan and Easter outreach programs, fostering a sense of ownership and purpose. This allows them to connect directly with the communities they serve, creating a stronger bond and a more meaningful impact.
