ODC Botswana's acting manager, Ms. Ann Moatshe highlighted the role ODC has played in effort to bridge the digital divide by offering coding and robotics training to students with autism. This innovative program promotes inclusivity in the tech sector and empowers autistic students with valuable skills. The ODC's approach aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education, decent work opportunities, and reducing inequalities. The program has received positive recognition from parents and the Botswana Council for the Disabled, highlighting its positive impact on the community.
The event ended with a celebratory performance of singing, dancing, and poetry by students from Ledumang and Ithuteng primary schools.
