Orange Summer Challenge

Since 2023, Orange DRC has been supporting young people and talents who present digital projects based on artificial intelligence and IoT in various fields.

Orange Summer Challenge is an annual competition organised in all Orange Digital Centres in Africa and the Middle East.

Young Congolese from various backgrounds present their projects, which are then put to the public vote. This voting process marks the end of a three-month course during which each participant is guided by local and international mentors/trainers in the creation of a project aimed at providing technological solutions to social or societal problems.
