We're thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the 14th edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) National Competition. This year's event showcased the incredible talent and innovation of Egypt's startup ecosystem.
For the 14th year in a row, Orange rewards the positive entrepreneurial spirit of dynamic startups within the framework of Orange Social Venture Prize.
OSVP is a competition which rewards young entrepreneurs who introduce a new product or service that involves information and communication technologies and has a social impact, This year, Orange Egypt hosted the national competition at its headquarters where five shortlisted teams competed to reserve the 3 winning seats and those winning teams will compete to win Orange Awards International Grand Prize
The Winning teams :
- 1st Winner : Learning Rockets is a gamified learning platform designed to make education more engaging for students. It offers a variety of subjects and topics, and aims to help students master essential concepts and skills
- 2nd Winner : Intella is a deep tech company that specializes in speech technology. Their products are designed to understand and process Arabic dialects, and can be used to transcribe conversations and extract insights
- 3rd Winner : SensEar is a solution that uses augmented reality to aid communication for deaf individuals. It translates spoken language into sign language and vice versa, and also helps with reading and writing. The product is designed to be scalable and adaptable to different languages.
